don’t really know what i took this photo of, it was a sort of accident that turned out really cool in the end.
pretty lights?

more to the point of my last post, how can you argue with THIS hair and makeup?
it’s like rainbow brite and twiggy had a baby in japan who unfortunately developed a crack addiction.

i’m inexplicably in love with Meadham Kirchoff’s s/s ‘11 collection
it should be everything i hate, but something just works for me
when you break down the parts of each look, the majority of the pieces are infinitely wearable
that might be due to my past obsession with japanese decora and lolita style though
it makes one think about how integral the runway styling of any collection is to it’s accessibility to buyers though
anyway, i’d wear most of that oufit
sarah burton’s first collection for alexander mcqueen (s/s ‘11)
i feel that it’s unfair to compare her work with mcqueen’s prior collections, but i will say that i think ms. burton is doing a damn fine job.
her designs are in keeping with the label’s established aesthetic, but in no way do they feel like a copy. i think “reinterpretation” is a good way to describe it.
GOLD STAR FOR YOU, SARAH BURTON!
also, how beautiful is the styling of this shoot?
